I am an energy worker and mediator with the Light Guides. About 10 years ago, I found out that I was clairsentient, and energy work was suddenly the most fascinating topic in my life. I had been working in corporate America in stressful jobs that were interesting, but where days were very long and taxing. Various years of this took a toll on my life in a variety of ways. Health and wellness were sometimes compromised as a result. Acupuncture, energy work, and chiropractic were effective treatment methods to assist me where Western medicine could not. I started Reiki training in 2013, and eventually became a Master level in Holy Fire Reiki and Karuna Holy Fire Reiki over the years. I started incorporating Reiki in my life to help myself and people around me. I also completed a Master degree in Traditional East Asian Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, CA while I worked full time. This program helped me understand qi (pronounced "chee," like in "cheese"), and I learned about how the human body is defined and healed in that modality. Some of the practices that we learned how to do for grounding and stress reduction are qi gong and tai chi. Prior to all of this, I studied Chemistry at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Today, I live in southern California, where I consistently work on my meditation practice and on trying to be a better person. I am also working on reducing my yarn stash through crocheting and knitting, although this last bit sometimes it feels like a losing battle...
